Box Tops for Education
Winner for March is Mrs. Joiner's class in the BLS. Winner for the Second 1/3 of the year is 7th Graders. Congrats to all!

Dear Byram Parents:

I would like to thank you for taking the time and effort to collect the pink Education Box Tops and Campbell soup labels. Every month, in both schools, the highest collecting classroom will win a movie rental and a snack. However, I would like to clarify some items that I also was not aware of.

1. Please put your child’s name, homeroom teacher’s name and grade number on the envelope. If you use a plastic baggie, please put this information on a scrap piece of paper and throw it in the baggie. The information is rubbing off the baggie and your child’s classroom is not getting credit. Have your child hand them to their homeroom teachers.

2. We do not always have scissors on hand so please include the entire pink education label so that we get credit. Also, there are plastic labels on the outside packaging of diapers, toilet paper, paper towels that stretch when you rip them so please try to get the entire label. If you can trim them, it would be a great help.

3. For the Campbell’s labels, we need the UPC code on the back, not the front of the label. If you cannot trim them, just hand in the entire label.

Please take the time to read these lists, because this is income for your childrens’ schools. Some mothers have already offered some suggestions that I was not aware of. There are box tops on:
Pepperidge Farms fish crackers,
Toilet paper packaging,
Diaper packaging,
Tissue box bottoms and
Double tickets on some breakfast cereals.
If you have any suggestions, please feel free to email me at slesser@ptd.net. Thank you in advance for your time and effort.
